Getting the fit right, step by step

Once you've picked your harness, here's how to fit it properly the first time.

Step 1 — The waist band

The waist band should sit where you'd naturally wear a belt — not higher, not lower. Adjust it to be secured but not squeezing. The test: you should be able to slide two fingers between the band and your skin. Tighter, it cuts circulation. Looser, it slips.

Step 2 — The thigh straps (if your harness has them)

This is where most mistakes happen. The straps should be firm but not tight. They shouldn't dig in or leave a red mark after five minutes. If they're cutting into you, loosen them. If they slide down, tighten slightly. The right position: just above the knee, where the thigh is most stable.

Step 3 — The position of the dildo
